See below for Janet Petersen's roll call vote AGAINST bringing a bill out of committee that would have allowed the process to start - to amend to Iowa's Constitution to define marriage as being between one man and one woman, which would bring Iowa's long standing Defence of Marriage law (signed into law by Gov. Vilsack) into compliance with Iowa's Constitution.
